I know I know....it has been a very long time. No worries. I haven't stopped shopping ,decorating, or browsing. I love to visit the Trussville Antique mall and found a lot of great decorating ideas. Here is a great window treatment idea!
This is a NO sew valance. You simply purchase a yard of fabric and use fabric glue to clean up the edges. Attach the fabric to a curtain rod/dowel with curtain rings...and Voile! I love this for a baby's room or an office.
During one of my flea market/antique mall shopping binges...I purchased the antique piece below. This was in my basement for about 2 years. I finally decided to find SOMEWHERE to use it. I tried to use it in my bedroom, bathroom, and living room but nothing clicked. Later that day, I went to dinner and was trying to find a pair of my favorite earrings...and yet again ..Voile! it clicked. Look below.
I love that I finally found a purpose for this...Now ...all I need to worry about is the rest of my flea market decor that hasn't quite found its 'home'... in my home =).
