Here are the {after} pictures that I promised during my last blog post. A few days late ...I know!...I'm sure y'all were sitting on the edge of your seats ;)

Here are a few hints to make your DIY a success...

1. do NOT try to rush ...if you are inpatient then you might be looking at a MESS at the end of your project. 

2. sand evenly to avoid darker areas

3. put animals outside.

4. Sand all surfaces with multiple grit sandpaper. Read directions on stain, it will tell you the texture sandpaper to use. 

5. sanding+painting=mess....always have a drop cloth handy, wet paper towels, and dry paper towels to clean up as you go along.
