Target Marriage

Well, The title says it all. { not really , right? } Let me preface this post by saying....I may have a slight obsession with Target and may be using this blog as an outlet to confess my many many thoughts of buying everything that they make. Eeeeeeeeeeeek. {especially their home decor}.  

I have spent many many hours walking the isles looking for...well..something I need. DUH. I never  buy things I don't need....I can always theorize some way to need something  in Target.  This is where Eddie comes in .....He helps me separate the needs from the wants. 

As simple { and maybe weird} as this may seem, Target has helped me realize how much Eddie balances me. His strengths = my weaknesses. I just love when he says ' do you REALLY need that?'. Well NO. I Don't. But Still. 

I'm learning to say no more...because we now share a checking account ,  which I highly recommend,  and its OUR money now . {WOO!} 

All joking aside.... {yeah, right}

 I love our Sunday afternoon grocery trips where Eddie finds the time to make stupid animal noises to embarrass me or when we stop to take selfies with random holiday garb ...

Being married has been amazing and we are 100 days in  and are still learning each other. One thing he has already learned about me is how much I LOVE coffee.   He knows better than to ask....'Lindsey, do you really need Starbucks?' { HELLO! YES I DO} But also knows how to sweetly deter me  from the 'other side' of Target where all of the real treasures  reside { stationary, dollar section, purses, makeup, clothing , shoes , O my !}

Marriage is an adventure....It makes my ordinary life , extra-ordinary.  Are there fights, yes. Are there bad days , yes. Do we sometimes speak in cat, yes . (ignore that) Do we love each other, yes. Do we like each other, yes ...right now. Marriage isn't perfect... But like my vows stated ....It is perfectly imperfect.  

 & I love it.
